Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 is an American Actress. She made her acting debut as an actress on Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she has been in WarGames in 1985, The Breakfast Club in 1986 and Short Circuit in 1986. Her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for over twenty years. She started her career in acting by appearing in the crime movie Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. The film, which was helmed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. In 1985, after her success in a movie she starred on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes' film, written by him, was one of the most acclaimed high-school movies in history. Although it was a budget of only 1 million dollars, the film's profits exceeded $50 million. While she was doing this, her debut on television was made with CBS Schoolbreak. From April 1980 it was an adolescent program. Also, she appeared on various shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as a small cameo. Sheedy has been awarded numerous times for her stellar performances among them the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
